RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech women's golf team are back in action this week and are set to participate in the Buccaneer Invitational, hosted by Barry University. The two-day event will be played at the par-71, 6,117-yard Miami Shores Country Club in Miami Shores, Florida.
The No. 36-ranked Golden Suns are one of eight nationally-ranked teams in the field of nine. All eight teams are currently ranked in the Top-40 with four being in the Top-15. In the lineup for the Golden Suns will be
Ellen Spigner,
Jaylee Castro,
Averi Mickelson,
Jessie Norman and
Maria Ruiz.
The 54-hole event is scheduled to have a shotgun start of 7:30 a.m. on Monday. The Golden Suns will be grouped with Eckerd College and Wayne State.
Monday is set to feature 36 holes of play with the second round occurring shortly after the completion of the opening round,
Tuesday's tee times will be determined after Monday's results.
