TIPPING OFF
For the first time this season, the scheduled takes the Arkansas Tech women's basketball team to Oklahoma for a two-game road swing. Tech will first take on Oklahoma Baptist and then face Southern Nazarene.

This will be the 22nd meeting all-time between Tech and Oklahoma Baptist. The series began in 1984 but has been played in earnest as conference rivals since 2015. The Golden Suns currently hold a 14-8 record in the series.

Against Southern Nazarene, this will be the 33rd meeting all-time between Tech and SNU. The series began in 1985 but has been played in earnest as conference rivals since 2012. The Golden Suns currently hold a 19-14 record in the series.

Tip-off for the Oklahoma Baptist game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 8 while the Southern Nazarene game will have a 1 p.m. tip-off on Saturday, January 10.

Southern Nazarene is 4-6 overall and 4-2 in the GAC. The Crimson Storm will have played a home game against Harding on Thursday prior to hosting Tech on Saturday. They are coming off an 80-70 win at home against Southeastern Oklahoma their last time out this past Saturday.

On the defensive end of the court, the Crimson Storm rank eighth in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 64.2 ppg.
