LILBURN, Ga. – Out to a 13-2 start and fresh off a convincing 84-69 win against then-ranked No. 12 Harding this past Thursday, the Arkansas Tech women's basketball team is on the cusp of a top-25 ranking as they are receiving votes in the latest Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division II Top-25 national poll released on Tuesday.
If the poll were extended out, the Golden Suns would be ranked No. 27.
This marks the 11
th season in which a
Dave Wilbers-led Golden Suns team has at least received votes in a national top-25 poll.
The Golden Suns will now prepare for a weekend on the road as they will be at Southwestern Oklahoma on Thursday night and Northwestern Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon.
