RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – In exactly five weeks from today (August 7), the Arkansas Tech football team will play its first home game of the 2025 season against Northwestern Oklahoma and ATU Athletic Department is announcing that online sales for single-game tickets are available
NOW as well as tent rentals/reservations for Party at the Plaza Tailgate, which will take place at Williamson Lawn.
Below is more information on buying tickets for the 2025 football season as well as purchasing/reserving tailgating spots.
TICKET INFORMATION
As was the case last year, all tickets for home Wonder Boy football games will be sold 100% online or from a mobile device through the
HomeTown Ticketing platform.
Fans wishing to purchase tickets from their desktop or laptop computers may do so at
www.ArkansasTechSports.com/tickets. Purchasing tickets from a mobile phone device or tablet can be done through the official HomeTown Ticketing "HomeTown Fan" app. The app is free and available on both Apple App Store and Google Play.
As a general reminder, with digital ticketing, Arkansas Tech
WILL NOT be accepting on-site cash or credit card payments for any ticketed athletic event.
After purchasing tickets, fans will have the ability to print their purchased ticket at home, store them on the app itself or add them to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay, through the HOMETOWN TICKETING Fan app, for quick scanning of their ticket from their mobile device upon arrival to the gate, making the entry into ATU Athletics events easier and more efficient.
Arkansas Tech faculty, staff and students will have their season pass emailed to their @ATU.edu email prior to the first home game. ATU Green and Gold members will have their season passes emailed to their provided email address. For any questions on Green and Gold member passes, please contact,
Kristain Thompson,
kthompson29@atu.edu.
PARTY AT THE PLAZA TAILGATING / TENT RENTAL & RESERVATION INFORMATION
As in year's past, the Party at the Plaza Tailgate will begin approximately three hours prior to any scheduled kickoff of a Wonder Boys home football game. The pregame tailgate remains at a familiar venue of Williamson Lawn directly across from Thone Stadium main entrance.
Tent rentals are also available to the public and to individuals and organizations at Arkansas Tech. There are a limited number of tents available. All tent rentals will be online and that form can be found at
www.ArkansasTechSports.com/tailgating.
The cost for a tent rental through ATU is $30 per game or $150 for the entire season to ensure a spot at all six home games.
Fans also can choose to bring their own tents. To ensure a spot at the tailgate for their tents, fans will need to reserve a spot at the tailgate through the online form found at
www.ArkansasTechSports.com/tailgating.
For fans renting a tent or providing their own and reserving a tailgating spot through the online form; their location will be emailed prior to each home game.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
HOW DO DIGITAL TICKETS WORK?
Digital tickets work exactly the same as a printed ticket. Simply show the barcode on the ticket to the ticket staff at the gate to scan and gain admittance to the game.
WILL DIGITAL TICKETING BE USED FOR AWAY CONTESTS?
Many schools across the country and in the Great American Conference are using digital ticketing. Be sure to check the away school's ticket website before traveling.
WILL CASH OR CREDIT CARD BE TAKEN AT GAMES?
Cash or credit card will not be taken at the box office for entry ticket purchase. Cash is still being accepted as a form of payment at the concessions stands at Simmons Bank Field and Tucker Coliseum.
QR code posters will be placed in the tailgating area of Williamson Lawn and main entrance of Simmons Bank Field for football and at the main entrance of Tucker Coliseum for basketball. These codes can be scanned by any smart phone which will take you to the ATU athletics ticketing site. Fans can also download the HOMETOWN TICKETING fan app at any time, search for Arkansas Tech University and purchase tickets through the app.
AFTER I PURCHASE MY TICKETS, WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THEM?
Single game tickets will be sent via email upon purchase or made available in the HOMETOWN TICKETING fan app after purchase. From the app, you can add the ticket to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay for storage and ease of scan upon arrival at the gate.
HOW DO I ENSURE THAT I CAN ACCESS MY TICKETS ON GAMEDAY VIA MY SMARTPHONE?
We HIGHLY recommend that you add all your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay Wallet prior to gameday. This will prevent you from having to deal with connectivity issues at the gate as the tickets will be stored in your digital wallet. Tickets can be downloaded to apple wallet and google pay from the HOMETOWN TICKETING fan app.
I AM A GREEN AND GOLD MEMBER; HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PASS TO GAMES AND PARKING PASS IF I QUALIFY FOR ONE?
Digital Green and Gold member season passes will be emailed to all members. A physical pass can also be picked up at the first Green and Gold lunch of the year (scheduled for Friday, August 22 at 11:30 a.m. at Old Bank) and the first Countdown to Kickoff meal in Williamson on Thursday, September 11.
The digital pass can be stored in the HOMETOWN TICKETING fan app to be scanned at games. Be sure to use the same mobile phone number for the app as you do for the Green and Gold membership form. Parking passes will also be emailed to those that qualify. These digital passes will be shown to the parking lot attendant.
I AM AN ARKANSAS TECH FACULTY/STAFF/RETIRED EMPLOYEE/STUDENT. HOW DO I GET MY SEASON PASS?
Season passed will be issued to you through your @ATU.edu email address.
WHAT IF WIFI ISN'T AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE?
We encourage you to download the HOMETOWN TICKETING fan app to purchase tickets before coming to the venue. Tickets can then be sent to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay. Access to Apple Wallet and Google Pay do not require internet connectivity.
CAN I PRINT MY TICKET AT HOME AND BRING TO THE GAME?
Yes, you can, but we HIGHLY recommend purchasing tickets through the HOMETOWN TICKETING fan app. Due to heightened fraud and counterfeit issues associated with print at home options, we recommend using your phone to store your ticket. In the future, ATU may move to digital tickets only without a pdf print at home option.
WHAT IF I NEED TO LEAVE THE VENUE AND COME BACK DURING THE GAME, WILL I RESCAN MY TICKET?
No, tickets will only be scanned once. If you need to leave and return, be sure to see a gate worker to have your hand stamped upon exit. To re-enter, show your stamped hand to the gate worker.
I HAVE A FACULTY/STAFF/RETIRED EMPLOYEE/STUDENT PASS, CAN MY PASS BE SCANNED MORE THAN ONCE AT THE CONTEST?
No, each season pass or single game ticket can only be scanned once at each contest. This prevents sharing passes or tickets with those who have not purchased a pass or ticket.
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?
There are small processing fees that will be applied for all digital ticket purchases.
WHAT ARE SOME PRO TIPS AT THE GATE?
We recommend increasing the brightness of your screen when scanning the ticket. Only the first scan of a ticket will allow entrance to the contest. If a ticket has already been scanned, entry will be denied.
