LANCASTER, Pa. – Arkansas Tech senior linebacker
Jyrin Steward has been named to the D2Football.com Preseason Elite 100 Watch List ahead of the 2025 season.

A native of El Dorado, Ark., Steward landed on the SQUAD for defense in the release by D2Football.com on Monday. According to the release, Squad players are equivalent to "honorable mention" selections in similar national recognition lists.
This past season, Steward was a Third Team All-GAC linebacker after he led the team in total tackles with 77. He also paced the team in tackles for lost yardage with 16.0 and was third in sacks with 3.0. Steward would also register an interception and three forced fumbles.
Steward and the Wonder Boys football team have begun preparations for the 2025 season with Fall Camp commencing on Sunday, August 10. Kick-off for the Wonder Boys' 2025 season is scheduled for Thursday, September 4 at 7 p.m. They will be on the road at Southwestern Oklahoma for that game and slated to make their home debut a week later against Northwestern Oklahoma.
