TIPPING OFF
The Arkansas Tech men's basketball team returns home for the stretch run of the regular season and will first take on Harding as part of Rivalry Night in the GAC on Thursday.

This will be 157th meeting all-time between Tech and Harding. In a series that dates back to 1925, the two have played each other multiple times a year consistently as conference rivals. Overall, Tech holds a 90-66 advantage in the series.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Wonder Boys are 9-13 overall and 6-10 in the GAC. Tech has lost their last three games and are coming off a 69-59 loss on the road at Oklahoma Baptist this past Saturday.

Statistically, the Wonder Boys average 66.4 ppg and rank 11th in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Wonder Boys rank third in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 66.8 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Wonder Boys are 10th in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .426 (517-of-1,215) and allow their opponents to shoot at a .430 mark (504-of-1,171) to rank third.

From beyond-the-arc, the Wonder Boys shoot at a clip of .293 (134-of-458) to rank 12th in the GAC while their opponents make three-pointers at a mark of .343 (161-of-470) to rank seventh. From the free throw line, the Wonder Boys shoot .711 as a team (293-of-412) to rank eighth.

Individually, the Wonder Boys have two players averaging double figures in scoring and are led by
Cassius Brooks and his 18.8 ppg.
Carlos Ramsey Jr. is next and rounds out double-digit scoring at 10.9 ppg.

Seybian Sims is the team-leader in rebounding and is averaging 7.8 rebounds per game. In terms of assists,
Kade Shaffer leads the team and is averaging 3.6 assists per game.

Defensively, the Wonder Boys are led in steals by
Brooks at 1.5 steals per game and in blocks by
Albright Obode at 0.6 blocks per game.

The Wonder Boys are coached by
Mark Downey, who is in his fifth season back on the sidelines at Tech after a 10-year hiatus. In his first stint, Downey patrolled the sidelines at Tech for four seasons from 2006-07 - 2009-10. In his final season, Downey guided the Wonder Boys to a program-record 30 wins and during that season, the Wonder Boys were ranked No. 1 in NCAA DII for the first time ever.

In his time at Tech, which is now in its ninth season overall, Downey has amassed a 144-107 record. Overall, Downey is in his 18th season as a head coach and has career record of 310-213.

SCOUTING THE BISONS
Harding is 14-8 overall and 10-6 in conference play. The Bisons are coming off a loss their last time out, losing 86-83 on the road at Southern Nazarene this past Saturday. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for Harding.

Statistically, the Bisons average 78.8 ppg and rank third in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Bisons rank 11th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 76.9 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Bisons are fourth in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .476 (606-of-1,274) and allow their opponents to post a .482 mark (617-of-1,281) to rank 12th.

McBride leads the team and is averaging 4.8 assists per game.

McBride at 2.0 steals per game and in blocks by
Wesley Booker at 1.3 blocks per game.

Weston Jameson, who is in his second season at his alma mater Harding. In his time at Harding,
