OFFICIAL D2CCA RELEASE

The all-region honor adds to a growing list of accolades for the first-year standout from Waco, Texas. Previously, Roland was named First Team All-GAC as well as being tabbed as the league's Freshman of the Year.

In his first season, Roland quickly made a name for himself on the field as he became the Wonder Boys' featured running back early in the season. In that feature role, Roland carried the ball 158 times for 1,054 yards and nine touchdowns.

His carries and yards ranked second in the GAC while his rushing touchdowns ranked fourth. Additionally, Roland became the first Wonder Boys running back to run for over 1,000 yards in a season since 2015.

Roland will also have a chance to add to his season totals in the Wonder Boys' upcoming bowl game against West Texas A&M on Saturday, December 6.
