LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Hitting the court for the first time in 2025-26, the Arkansas Tech men's basketball team traveled to the capital city of Arkansas on Tuesday night to take on Little Rock in an exhibition game inside the Jack Stephens Center. The Wonder Boys would more than hold their own against the Trojans but ultimately fell 72-67.

Debuting a roster featuring mostly newcomers, the Wonder Boys had 11 take the court and eight score in the contest. Three players would score in double figures with 
David Elliott IV leading with 17 points. 
Kiran Oliver was next with 13 points followed by 
Sam Bradford with 10.
 
Bradford would also haul in a team-high 10 rebounds to post a double-double. 
Devin Foster had an overall good game with nine points, eight rebounds, three assists and a block.
 
For the game, the Wonder Boys would shoot 41% from the floor (23-of-56) and had a 32% success rate from three-point range (8-of-25). They also held a first-half lead that was as large as five points and cut a 20-point high-mark second-half deficit into the five-point final margin.
 
The Wonder Boys will now continue their preparation for the start of their actual regular season. That will come the weekend of November 14-15 as Tech will travel to Joplin, Mo. to take part in the GAC/MIAA Crossover Challenge. That weekend, the Wonder Boys will take on Missouri Southern and Newman.
