ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech softball team was denied the opportunity to complete a three-game sweep of Ouachita Baptist on Sunday as the Tigers tripped up the Golden Suns, 2-0, to salvage a game in the series.
In the shutout, the Golden Suns had five hits in the game against Ouachita starter, Tuesday Melton but all were singles.
Dani Lindsey had two of the team's five hits in the game as she went 2-for-3.

Maycie Hardy also registered singles in the contest.

Aiden Dayberry pitched the who game and struck out five while allowing two earned runs on seven hits.
The first run of the game for Ouachita was scored on a two-out double down the right field line. In the bottom of the sixth, the Tigers pushed across their second run on a one-out double.
The Golden Suns will not look to bounce back quickly as they are at home on Tuesday evening for a conference doubleheader against Harding. First-pitch from the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex is scheduled for 4 p.m.
