RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2026 Academic All-District® team honorees for softball. In that release, it was revealed that five Arkansas Tech softball players,
Riley Drake,
Sharlee Jackson,
Emily Richarde,
Caroline Wilhelm and
Anna Winkfield earned the distinction.

All five exceeded the program's standards of excellence in the classroom being at least a sophomore academically with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA while also meeting the required minimum amounts of play on the field by competing in 90 percent of the institution's games played
OR having started in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances
OR pitched 35 innings.
Drake, a senior from Quitman, Arkansas, recently graduated with a degree in Health Information Systems at Tech while sporting a 3.64 GPA.
Jackson, a junior from Sparks, Nevada, is majoring in Middle Level Education-Mathematics at Tech and currently possesses a 3.84 GPA.
Richarde, a junior from Lakeland, Tennessee, is majoring in Pre-Allied Health at Tech and currently has a 3.69 GPA.
Wilhelm, a senior from Bentonville, Arkansas, recently graduated with a degree in Digital Marketing at Tech while sporting a 3.91 GPA.
Winkfield, a junior from Jonesboro, Arkansas, is majoring in Kinesiology at Tech and currently has a 3.60 GPA.
