ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech men's basketball team completed a regular season sweep of Ouachita Baptist with a 72-56 win on the road on Saturday afternoon.
The win helped the Wonder Boys keep pace with Southeastern Oklahoma atop the Great American Conference standings. Now with just two weeks and four games left in the regular season, the Wonder Boys are one game back of first place and will carry a 14-4 record into next week's action on the road.
In the game against Ouachita, the Wonder Boys took control late in the first half and out-scored the Tigers 7-0 over the final 1:36 of the half to take a seven-point lead into the locker room. Prior to that, the game was closely-contested with neither team holding a lead of more than five points, the lead changing hands eight times and the score being tied three times.
During that half-ending run, the Wonder Boys got painted jumpers by

In the second half, the Wonder Boys continued to play from in front and pushed their lead out to double digits by the 15:05 mark. The lead would get as high as 15 points at the 12:33 mark, but Ouachita battled back and as close as six points with 9:22 on the clock.
The Wonder Boys responded right back with a quick 4-0 spurt to go back up by double digits. They would go on to keep a comfortable lead the rest of the way out, grabbing a lead as large as 18 before ending with a 16-point margin of victory.
Overall, the Wonder Boys got relatively balanced scoring with eight players having at least two points and six with at least six points.
