RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference unveiled its annual all-conference honors and superlative awards on Wednesday evening at an awards banquet on the eve of the start of the conference tournament. In that unveiling, Arkansas Tech's
Savannah Meyer was named to the Honorable Mention All-GAC team.

In her second season in a Golden Suns' uniform, the Lake St. Louis, Mo. native made significant jumps in all major offensive stat categories as she established herself as a top offensive weapon within the GAC. Playing in all 30 regular season matches and 106 sets, Meyer nearly reached the 400-kill mark as she ended with 394 and posted a 3.72 kills/set average.
That kill total was the most by a Golden Sun since 2016 when Hunter Eshnaur had 408. It was also the third-most in the GAC. Additionally, her kills/set average was also third in the GAC.
Out of those 30 matches played, Meyer registered double-digit kills in 21 of them and had 20 or more four times.
In addition to Meyer's all-conference plaudit for her play, she was one of 11 Golden Suns to earn recognition on the GAC Academic Honor Roll, presented by Conway Regional Health System. The other Golden Suns earning that academic distinction were:
