ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech volleyball team dropped a road match at Ouachita Baptist on Thursday night, losing 3-0.
In the match, the Golden Suns ran into a stout and efficient offensive attack by Ouachita that saw the Tigers rack up 41 kills and only 12 errors on 102 attacks for an attack percentage of .284 across the three sets. On the other end, the Golden Suns were limited offensively as they totaled 25 kills and had 17 errors on 100 total attacks.
Elsewhere on the stat sheet, the Tigers had advantages aces, blocks, assists and digs.
The Golden Suns will now prepare for a return home next week as they will host Lane College for a non-conference match on Tuesday, October 8. First-serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. from inside Tucker Coliseum.
