TIPPING OFF

A lengthy road trip to the state of Oklahoma comes to a close Monday night as the Arkansas Tech men's basketball team is set to take on Southern Nazarene in a game that is a makeup from an earlier postponement back on January 6.

The Wonder Boys will be looking to end their stay in Oklahoma on a high note as they dropped each of their last two games this past weekend at East Central and at Southeastern Oklahoma.

The loss at ECU was a role reversal from the last time they met just days prior as the Tigers caught fire in the second half to pull away from Tech. The loss at Southeastern saw the Wonder Boys get off to a great start offensively and held a significant lead over one of the top teams in the GAC this season. Southeastern engineered a comeback and sustained it in the second half thanks to a near perfect showing at the free throw line, going 21-of-22 in the second half.

Monday night's game with Southern Nazarene will be the first between the two teams in nearly two years. In the recent history of the series, SNU has held the advantage winning three-straight and seven of nine dating back to 2016.
