WONDER BOYS TOP BISONS

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Tony Hall had a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds along with four assists and R.J. Glasper poured in 25 points and dished out six assists as the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys (9-4, 5-4 Great American Conference) took down Harding (6-9, 1-8), 96-87 in Tucker Coliseum.

  • The Wonder Boys will host Henderson State on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Tucker Coliseum.
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Devante Foster scored the first points for the Wonder Boys with a three-pointer with 19:07 left in the first half.
  • Free throws from Glasper put Tech up 22 points (37-14), with 8:50 left in the half. Harding pulled within seven going into the half (47-40).
  • Four unanswered points from the Bisons to start the half pulled them within three (48-51) with 16:24 left in the half but the Wonder Boys took control for the remainder of the game.  
  • A three-pointer from Ke'Lyn Adams put the Wonder Boys up by 20 (87-67) again with 5:41 in the half and free throws from Albert Odero with 28 seconds left sealed the Wonder Boys 96-87 victory.
NOTABLES
  • The Wonder Boys held the advantage in rebounds (49-46), second chance points (22-13), points off the bench (22-5). Tech outshot Harding from behind the arc 45.7 percent to 25 percent.
  • Adams grabbed 11 rebounds, Foster and Glasper each grabbed six.
  • David Wehmeyer and Adams had a block apiece.
