RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team will conclude its 2018-19 season this week as they host Northwestern Oklahoma and Southwestern Oklahoma in its final games. Tech will play Northwestern Oklahoma on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. before closing out the season by hosting Southwestern Oklahoma on Saturday at 1 p.m.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Wonder Boys hold a 10-2 advantage in the all-time series against Northwestern Oklahoma. Earlier this season, Tech rallied back from a 15-point deficit to defeat NWOSU 74-72 on a
Will Adler buzzer-beater. The Wonder Boys are a perfect 5-0 against the Rangers at Tucker Coliseum.
Tech leads the all-time series 21-10 against Southwestern Oklahoma, including a current six-game winning-streak. Tech overcame a 15-point deficit to defeated SWOSU 103-92 on Jan. 24. Tech is 7-2 against the Bulldogs at Tucker Coliseum.
SCOUTING THE WONDER BOYS
Arkansas Tech (10-16, 8-12 GAC) is coming off a weekend split this past weekend. Tech used an
Alex Brown last-second tip-in layup to defeat Oklahoma Baptist 89-87 on Feb. 21 before falling 93-82 to No. 15 Southern Nazarene on Feb. 23. The Wonder Boys cannot qualify for the GAC tournament.
With their 17 made 3-pointers at Southern Nazarene, the Wonder Boys set a new Great American Conference and school record for the most made 3-pointers in a single-season with 350. Tech leads NCAA Division II in both made 3-pointers (350) and made 3-pointers per game (13.5).

Mason Cline and
Will Adler will be playing in their final games as Wonder Boys. Brown averaged 14.2 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game this season, while also becoming just the 32
nd Tech player in program history to score over 1,000 career points. Lee is averaging 8.8 points per game and 5.8 assists per game this season. Lee ranks third all-time in school history in career assists with 523 and is just two assists shy of becoming the GAC all-time assist leader.
Mason Cline averaged 9.3 points per game, while shooting 46.8 percent from 3-point range. Cline has made 173 career 3-pointers, which ranks sixth all-time in school history. Adler averaged 14.9 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game. His 3.9 made 3-pointer per game leads the GAC and ranks second in NCAA Division II. Adler has made 101 3-pointers this season and is nine 3-pointers shy of passing Chad Keaster (1994-95) for second all-time in made 3-pointers in a single season. Gary Townsend (1989-90) holds the single-season record with 123 made 3-pointers.
SCOUTING THE RANGERS
Northwestern Oklahoma (7-19, 5-15 GAC) enters Thursday's game having lost two of their last three games. Last week, NWOSU dropped a 67-58 contest to Ouachita and defeated Henderson State 69-54. Northwestern is 2-10 this season in road games.
The Rangers rank fourth in the GAC in offensive rebounds per game (11.0), while ranking sixth in both steals (12.9) and 3-point field goal percentage (36.2%). Jack Peck leads Northwestern and ranks 15
th in the conference in scoring at 12.8 points per game. Peck also ranks 14
th in the league in rebounding (5.4). A.J. Jones leads the GAC in steals (2.2) and assists (6.1).
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Southwestern Oklahoma (4-22, 1-19 GAC) enters Thursday's game on an eight-game losing-streak. Last week SWOSU dropped contests to Henderson State (104-78) and Ouachita (82-70).
The Bulldogs rank third in the GAC in both made 3-pointers (243) and made 3-pointers per game (9.3), while ranking fourth in defensive rebounds per game (27.2). Tre Evans, the GAC's leading scorer (24.2), leads the Bulldogs. Evans also leads the conference in defensive rebounds per game (7.0), while ranking fifth in rebounding (7.5) and ninth in assists (3.9).
