Ramses Sandifer scored 22 points with nine rebounds, while five Wonder Boys reached double figures, but the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team (10-16, 8-12 Great American Conference) was unable to hold off the late offensive firepower of the No. 15/17 Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm (24-4, 17-3), falling 93-82 on Saturday at the Sawyer Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southern Nazarene raced out to an 11-point (13-2) lead just over five minutes into the contest.
- The Crimson Storm stretched its lead to 13 (18-5) at the 12:44 mark.
- The Wonder Boys rallied back, pulling to within three (24-21) after a pair of free throws by Alex Brown with 8:37 remaining.
- Tech got within one (30-29) with 7:14 remaining in the half on a 3-pointer by Mason Cline.
- SNU stretched its lead back to seven (46-39) in the final minute of the half, but a long 3-pointer by Brown cut the Tech deficit to four (46-42) at the half.
- A Ramses Sandifer 3-pointer with 17:59 to play pulled Tech to within two (50-48).
- After SNU stretched its lead again, another Sandifer 3 pulled Tech to within two (55-53) with 16:26 to play.
- Sandifer put the Wonder Boys ahead 56-55 with his second consecutive 3-pointer at the 15:50 remaining.
- The two teams traded leads over the subsequent possessions, but after another 3-pointer by Sandifer knotted the game at 61-61 with 14:13 to play, SNU used a 6-0 run to grab a 67-61 lead with 13 minutes to play.
- Tech chipped away at the lead, pulling to within two (73-71) with a pair of free throws by RJ Glasper with 9:51 remaining.
- SNU answered with a Micah Speight 3-pointer at the 9:38 mark to create a bit of separation.
- The Crimson Storm lead grew to nine points (84-75) with 5:56 to play, and SNU would keep the Wonder Boys at arm's length down the stretch.
NOTABLES
- The loss eliminates the Wonder Boys from postseason consideration.
- Alex Brown (19 points), RJ Glasper (12 points), Mason Cline (12 points), and Freddy Lee (10 points) also reached double figures in scoring.
- Tech connected on 17-of-37 from long range.
- SNU held a 40-24 advantage in rebounding and a 57.1 to 44.4 percent advantage in shooting.
- SNU was 24-of-31 from the charity stripe while Tech was 9-of-13.
- Lee added 11 assists to notch a double-double. He now is seven assists shy of the GAC's all-time record, currently held by Northwestern Oklahoma's Brandon Green.
