RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – With four games remaining in the regular season, the Arkansas Tech men's basketball team will look to find its way into the top eight teams in the Great American Conference standings this weekend as they embark to Oklahoma for their final road trip of the season. Tech will play Oklahoma Baptist in Shawnee, Okla. on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and No. 15 Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Okla. on Saturday at 3 p.m.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Wonder Boys hold a 7-2 advantage in the all-time series against Oklahoma Baptist, including wins in three of the last four meetings. In the first meeting this season, OBU defeated Tech 99-63 in Russellville, Ark. on Jan. 12. The Wonder Boys are 2-4 against Oklahoma Baptist at the Noble Complex.
Tech holds a 6-5 lead in the all-time series against Southern Nazarene. Earlier this season Tech upset then No. 15 Southern Nazarene 85-74 in Tucker Coliseum on Jan. 10. Tech is 1-4 against SNU at the Sawyer Center.

SCOUTING THE WONDER BOYS
Arkansas Tech (9-15, 7-11 GAC) has lost three of its last four games and is coming of a split this past weekend as Tech defeated Harding 88-82 before falling 88-69 to Arkansas-Monticello. The Wonder Boys are currently in ninth place in the GAC standings, one game behind Ouachita for eighth.
Tech leads the conference in scoring offense, scoring 80.5 points per game. Majority of those points coming from behind the arc, as the Wonder Boys 13.2 made 3-pointers per game is the best in all of NCAA Division II. Tech shoots 37.9 percent from 3-point range, ranking second in the conference. The Wonder Boys also rank second in both assists per game (15.1) and assist/turnover ratio (1.4).

Will Adler and
Alex Brown are Tech's top three scorers. Glasper ranks fourth in the GAC at 18.3 points per game, followed by Adler (15.6) and Brown (13.9). Glasper also ranks second in free throw percentage (88.0%) and fifth in assists per game (5.1). Adler has continue to stay hot shooting from the outside, as his 4.0 made 3-pointers per game still holds the top spot in all of NCAA Division II.
Freddy Lee has played well over the past three games, scoring 23 points against Southern Arkansas and 21 points against Harding, while also becoming just the third player in program history to record over 500 career assists. Lee ranks second in the GAC in both assists per game (5.7) and assist/turnover ratio (2.5).
SCOUTING THE BISON
Oklahoma Baptist (13-11, 12-6 GAC) enters Thursday's game having won two of their last three games. Last week, OBU dropped a 102-62 contest to then No. 17 Southern Nazarene and defeated East Central 66-64. Oklahoma Baptist is 9-3 this season in home games and is tied for third place in the GAC standings.
The Bison lead the conference in rebounding offense (38.9) and defensive rebounds (29), which ranks as the 13
th best in NCAA Division II. Oklahoma Baptist is ranked second in the league in 3-point field goal percentage (31.7%) and blocks (4.3). OBU is also ranked third in rebounding margin (+5.0) and field goal percentage (46.8%).
Oklahoma Baptist is the only school in the conference to have five player averaging double figures in scoring, led by Antonio Wade who ranks seventh in the GAC in scoring (15.8). Davion Turner (13.3), Harrison Stoddart (11.5), Brantly Thompson (11.0) and Dishon Lowery (10.5) follow. Lowery also ranks second in the conference in rebounding (8.1) and third in field goal percentage (59.5%). In the Bison's 99-63 win over Tech on Jan. 12, five different OBU players scored 14 or more points, led by Brantley Thompson with 19 points.
SCOUTING THE CRIMSON STORM
No. 15 Southern Nazarene (22-4, 15-3 GAC) enters Thursday's game having won ten of its last 11 games, including a 102-62 win over Oklahoma Baptist and a 94-64 win over Southwestern Oklahoma this past weekend. SNU is 12-1 at home this season and sits atop the GAC standings.
The Crimson Storm leads the GAC and ranks 21
st in the country in scoring margin at +13.3. SNU is also ranked second in the league and 26
th in NCAA Division II in scoring defense at 66.8 points per game. Southern Nazarene also leads the conference in blocks (4.4) and turnover margin (+2.77), while ranking second in field goal percentage (39.8%), rebounding offense (38.1) and steals (7.3).
The trio of Jhonathan Dunn, Noah Starkey and Micah Speight lead the Crimson Storm. Dunn ranks fifth in the league in scoring at 18.1 points per game, while Starkey (15.2) is ranked ninth and Speight (14.3) is 11
th. Starkey also leads the GAC in blocks (2.1), is third in rebounding (7.8) and fourth in field goal percentage (58.5%). Speight is second in the conference in steals (1.9), third in assist/turnover ratio (2.5) and fourth in assists per game (5.3). Starkey scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the first meeting with Tech this season. R.J. Palmer led SNU in scoring with 21 points, while the Wonder Boys shut down Dunn, holding him to nine points as he battled foul trouble and eventually fouled out.
