Brianna Merkel's seven kills on 12 attempts and
Allie Anderson's nine kills led the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns (16-13, 8-8 Great American Conference) to victory over Southern Arkansas (3-24, 1-15) in straight sets (25-23, 25-16, 25-16). The Golden Suns punched their ticket to the Great American Conference Championship tournament.

- SAU jumped out to an early 6-2 lead.
- The Golden Suns tied things at 11-11 and the teams traded points until Tech won three of the last four points and took the first set 25-23.
- Tech went up 5-1 to start the second set.
- The Golden Suns extended their lead to as many nine and took the second 25-16.
- SAU jumped to a 4-1 lead before Tech used a 6-0 run to take a 10-8 lead.
- Tech finished the third set on a 10-2 run and took the third set 25-16 and the match.
