RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns could not hold off the strong attack of Southwestern Oklahoma State, falling in straight sets (25-16, 25-15, 25-22). The Golden Suns out-blocked the Bulldogs 8-3.

• The teams traded points early in the set until SWOSU went up 16-13.
• SWOSU pushed its lead and took the first set 25-16.
• The Bulldogs jumped out to a 6-1 lead to start the second set.
• Tech had a 5-1 run to pull within 8 but SWOSU maintained their lead and won the second set 25-15.
• Tech went up early 4-1 but SWOSU tied things 7-7.
• The Golden Suns used 9-1 run to lead 16-10.
• SWOSU stormed back with a 6-0 run to tie at 16-16.
• The Bulldogs finished the set with a 8-3 run to take the third set 25-22 and the match.
