RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The trio of Rilie Vote, Tymber Riley, and Mackenzie Eford all notched seven kills, Riley led all players with 15 digs while Amanda Milnick dished out a match-high 13 assists in her lone set as the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns volleyball team (10-7) rolled to a 3-0 sweep of Lyon (8-8) on Monday night at Tucker Coliseum.

• Arkansas Tech returns to Tucker Coliseum this Friday and Saturday for matches against Southeastern Oklahoma and East Central. Friday's matchup with Southeastern is set for 6 p.m. while Saturday's matchup with ECU will begin at 2 p.m. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Arkansas Tech rolled out to an 8-4 advantage in the opening set. 
• Lyon cut the Tech lead to two (8-6) before the Golden Suns began to create some separation, claiming a seven-point (19-12) lead after a Lyon error. 
• Lyon was able to narrow the gap to four (23-19) after a Tech error, but the Golden Suns used back-to-back kills by Ellie Perkins and Addison Masters to close the set and pull ahead 1-0. 
• The Scots took a 5-3 lead in the opening set. 
• Tech used three straight points to claim a 6-5 advantage before Lyon knotted the set on a Tech error. 
• The Golden Suns gradually pulled away after Lyon narrowed the match to 17-15. Tech outscored Lyon 8-2 down the stretch to take a 2-0 lead in the match after a 25-17 set win.
• The two teams traded points in the third set, with the Golden Suns gradually opening an advantage and holding the Scots at arm's length, taking a 25-14 set win to seal the sweep.
