SEARCY, Ark.–
Hunter Eshnaur and
Allie Anderson dished out 11 kills apiece, but the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns volleyball team (7-6, 1-1 Great American Conference) was unable to overcome the hot hitting of Harding (6-6, 1-0), falling 3-1 to the Lady Bisons on Tuesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The back-and-forth opening set saw six lead changes.
- An Eshnaur kill knotted the set at 16 and started a 6-0 Tech run that saw the Golden Suns pull ahead 21-16.
- Harding was able to pull to within 22-20, but Tech closed out the set with three straight points to win the set 25-20 and go up 1-0.
- Tech pulled ahead in the early part of the second set, going ahead 4-3, but Harding reeled off nine consecutive points to claim a 12-4 advantage.
- After the Golden Suns cut the Lady Bisons advantage to 14-7, Harding scored six of the next seven points to go ahead 20-8, as Harding closed out the set 25-11 to knot the match at a set apiece.
- Harding used a 5-1 start in the third set to claim an early lead.
- Tech pulled to within 11-9 before the Lady Bisons scored eight of ten points to stretch its lead to 19-11.
- Harding forced set point at 24-18 and the Golden Suns were able to score two points before Harding closed the set 25-20 to claim a 2-1 lead in the match.
- There were 12 ties in the fourth set, the last coming at 19-19 in the midst of a 5-0 Harding run.
- Harding claimed the lead in the set for good, going ahead 21-19.
- Tech twice cut the set score to one – last trailing 23-22 – before Harding closed out the match victory with two consecutive points to claim a 25-22 set win.
NOTABLES
- The Lady Bisons outhit Tech .273 to .116 for the match. Tech outhit Harding .457 to .333 in the opening set – the best hitting set for both teams.
- Harding had ten blocks to Tech's six.
- Amanda Milnick dished out a team-best 30 assists, while Emily Acker added 10.
- Eshnaur led Tech with 14 digs, while Brittany Melcher (13) and Milnick (10) also reached double figures.
- Eshnaur also notched a team-best two service aces.
