RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Tech women's basketball team travels to Magnolia, Ark. to take on Southern Arkansas at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday before heading back to Tucker Coliseum to host Henderson State at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Arkansas Tech holds a 67-9 advantage over Southern Arkansas in the all-time series that started in 1977. The Golden Suns have won six straight and 24 out of the last 25 meetings against the Lady Muleriders, including a 73-69 win over Southern Arkansas earlier this season. The Golden Suns are 30-6 when they face the Lady Muleriders in the W.T. Watson Center in Magnolia, Ark.
Arkansas Tech leads the all-time series, 62-13 against Henderson State. Prior to their 75-52 loss to the Reddies earlier this season, the Golden Suns had won eight straight and 21 out of the last 22 matchups. Tech is 32-6 against Henderson State in Tucker Coliseum. The Reddies last win in Russellville came in the 2006-07 season, as Henderson State defeated Tech 64-46.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN SUNS
Arkansas Tech (18-3, 14-3 GAC) is coming off a pair of home wins as the Golden Suns defeated both Southern Nazarene (79-49) and Oklahoma Baptist (74-69) last week. Tech has now won nine of their last ten games and currently sits in second in the GAC standings, trailing only Southwestern Oklahoma.
The Golden Suns lead the GAC and are ranked ninth in the country in rebounds per game with 45.2. Tech is ranked third in the conference and 18
th in Division II in scoring offense at 78.8 points a game. Tech also leads the GAC in scoring margin (+13.1), field goal percentage defense (.367), steals (10.8), and offensive rebounds (15.4).
Jayana Sanders leads the Golden Suns in scoring and is ranked sixth in the GAC at 14.8 points per game. Coming off a career-high 16-rebound game against Southern Nazarene,
Cheyenne North leads the Golden Suns in rebounding at 8.6 per game, ranking third in the GAC. North is also ranked second in the conference and 17
th in Division II with 2.71 blocks per game.
Kylie Ladd leads the GAC and is ranked tenth in the country with 3.19 steals per game. Ladd also leads the conference in assist/turnover ratio (1.8) and is ranked tenth in assists per game (3.3).
SCOUTING THE LADY MULERIDERS
Southern Arkansas (8-15, 7-10 GAC) has won four of its last five games, including an 84-64 win over Northwestern Oklahoma on Feb. 10. The Lady Muleriders are ranked ninth in the GAC Standings.
The Lady Muleriders have played solid defense this season as they rank second in the conference in steals per game (9.7), fourth in blocks per game (4.1), fourth in in turnover margin (+2.43) and fifth in field goal percentage defense (.387).
Sue Key leads SAU with 16.1 points per game, fourth best in the GAC. She also ranks ninth in the conference in minutes played. Kimberly Crown ranks 11
th in the conference in scoring with 14.1 points per game. She also ranks fourth in field goal percentage (.503), fifth in blocks (1.4) and sixth in rebounding (8.3). Crown scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the Lady Muleriders 73-69 loss to Tech earlier this season.
SCOUTING THE REDDIES
Henderson State (17-6, 13-4 GAC) has won five straight and six of its last seven games, including a 79-71 win over East Central on Feb. 10. The Reddies are ranked third in the GAC standings.
The Reddies lead the conference in scoring defense (64.1) and 3-point field goal percentage defense (.271). HSU also ranks third in scoring margin (+6.8), third in rebounding margin (+2.4), and fourth in 3-pointers made per game (7.6).
Pink Jones leads the Henderson State offense as she scores 16.4 points per game, which ranks third in the conference. Jones also ranks seventh in the GAC in assists and ninth in steals (1.8). Jones scored a game-high 26 points, grabbed eight rebounds and tallied six assists in the Reddies win over the Golden Suns earlier this season. Haleigh Henson also plays an integral role for the Reddies as she scores 13.0 points per game, and ranks second in the conference in made 3-pointers (56).
