RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys will look to snap a four-game losing streak this week, as Tech hosts on Southern Arkansas in Great American Conference play. The Wonder Boys will take on the Muleriders in Tucker Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Tech holds a 95-72 advantage in the all-time series against Southern Arkansas, however the Muleriders have won the last two contests, winning 80-76 at Tucker Coliseum and 90-80 in Magnolia last season.

SCOUTING THE WONDER BOYS
Arkansas Tech (2-6, 0-3 GAC) is in the midst of a four-game losing streak, with its most recent loss coming with a 75-72 loss to Arkansas-Monticello in Monticello, Ark. on Dec. 8.
The Wonder Boys lead the GAC in rebounding offense (40.9/game), offensive rebounding (12.9/game) and 3-point shooting (13.0/game).
Will Adler has been the hot hand as of late, as Adler is averaging 22.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game over the past two games. Adler has also been red-hot from behind the 3-point line as he has made 12 of his last 22 3-pointers for 54.5 percent. Alder is leading the GAC in made 3-pointers (33) and 3-pointer per game (4.1/game).
Arkansas Tech also ranks second in the conference in assist/turnover ratio (1.5) and assists per game (15.8).
R.J. Glasper and
Freddy Lee have done a good job distributing the ball as they are combining for 11.2 assists per game. Tech is one of two schools in the league to have two players averaging over 5.0 assists per game, Glasper's 5.8 assists per game ranks as the third best in the GAC while Lee's 5.4 assists per game ranks as the sixth best in the GAC.
SCOUTING THE MULERIDERS
Southern Arkansas (7-2, 2-1 GAC) enters Wednesday's game having won seven of its last eight games. The Muleriders are most recently coming off of a 68-60 win over Ouachita on Saturday, Dec. 8.
The Muleriders boast one of the best defenses in the GAC as they lead the conference in field goal percentage defense (37.6%), rebounding defense (30.0/game), rebounding margin (+10.0), and blocks (4.7/game). SAU also ranks second in scoring defense (65.8/game), scoring margin (+12.7), 3-point field goal percentage defense (30.9%), and rebounding offense (40.0/game).
SAU has four players averaging double-figures, led by Draylan Perkins with 11.9 points per game. The Muleriders are averaging 10.2 3-pointers a game, which only trails Arkansas tech and Southeastern Oklahoma in the GAC. Southern Arkansas has three great shooters as Gabe Gilliam (2.2), Jalen Brooks (2.1) and Perkins (2.1) are all averaging over 2.0 made 3-pointers a game.
