RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns will look for their third and fourth consecutive wins this weekend, beginning with a 5:30 p.m. contest on Thursday against Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, Ark. The Golden Suns will then return to Tucker Coliseum on Saturday to host Henderson State at 1 p.m.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Tech leads the all-time series between Ouachita, 59-14, including a current ten-game winning-streak against the Lady Tigers. Against Henderson State, the Golden Suns are 64-13 all-time after winning two of the three contests last year.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN SUNS
Arkansas Tech (2-2) has won its previous two contests, including a 90-47 win over Hendrix on Nov. 20.
Jacie Higgins leads a cast of four Tech players averaging double-figures as she ranks 16
th in the GAC with 12.3 points per game. Higgins is followed by
Jayana Sanders (11.3 ppg),
Alicia Mardis (11.3 ppg) and
Hannah Villines (10.8).
Lyrik Williams's 5.3 rebounds per game ranks 19
th in the GAC, while her 3.0 offensive rebounds per game ranks third in the conference. William's is also ranked third in the GAC with 1.3 blocks per game. Sanders has been efficient running the Tech offense as she is averaging 4.0 assists per game and has also posted a 1.3 assist/turnover ratio, which ranks as the fifth best in the GAC.
Tech leads the conference in scoring offense (85.2 ppg), scoring margin (+25.2), blocks (4.0 bpg) and offensive rebounds (14.5 rpg).
SCOUTING THE LADY TIGERS
Ouachita (2-3) has won two of its last three games, however the Lady Tigers are coming off a 74-49 loss to Arkansas Fort Smith on Nov. 20.
Eden Crow paces the offense with 15.8 points per game, and she also ranks second in the GAC with 9.2 rebounds per game. Alivia Huell is the only other player averaging double-figures for OUA with 12.6 points per game. As a team, the Lady Tigers are shooting 39.4 percent from the floor while limiting opponents to just 41.8 percent on field goals. Ouachita has struggled taking care of the basketball as it ranks last in the GAC with 14.4 turnovers per game. The Lady Tigers were picked seventh in the GAC Preseason poll.
SCOUTING THE REDDIES
Henderson State (3-1) opened the season with wins over Southwest Baptist and the University of Sioux Falls, before falling 79-69 to Missouri Southern State on Nov. 16. The Reddies responded with a 86-73 non-conference victory over Rogers State on Nov. 21. HSU travels to Southern Arkansas on Thursday before facing Tech on Saturday.
The Reddies are led by three players averaging over 12.0 points per game. Hailey Estes averages 18.5 points and 7.3 rebounds, Pink Jones averages 18.5 points per game and 5.0 assists, while Blu Jones posts 12.3 points and 1.8 steals per game. HSU leads the conference in field goal percentage (49.0%) and three-point shooting (37.5%), while ranking third in scoring offense (81.5 ppg). The Reddies were picked fourth in the GAC Preseason poll.
