WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Arkansas Tech baseball completed a three-game sweep of the Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs on Saturday, winning both games of a doubleheader. After winning the conference season-opener on Friday, the Wonder Boys defeated the Bulldogs, 7-3 and 5-3, to move to 3-0 in the Great American Conference.

- The Wonder Boys swept the reigning GAC regular season champions behind a combined eight hits by Tech's first two hitters. Wilson and McDearmon each recorded two hits in both games, while McDearmon tallied five runs batted in, including his first home run of the season.
- Wescott, Wheeler and Wilson each added two runs batted in on the day, while Klockowski picked up his 10th RBI on the weekend.
- Armstrong earned his first win of the season after pitching 7.1 innings for the Wonder Boys in game one. Armstrong allowed just three hits and one run, and he struck out six batters.
- In the second game, Birkemeier totaled 5.1 innings on the mound to grab his first win of the season. Birkemeier fanned five batters before Harbin stepped in for the final inning and his first save of the year.
- The three-game sweep is the first for the Wonder Boys since taking three games from Harding in April 2015.
