RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Tech will host its final home game of the 2016-17 regular season on Thursday, as the Golden Suns take on the Arkansas-Monticello Cotton Blossoms. The senior-night contest is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tech then travels to Arkadelphia on Saturday to take on Henderson State at 1 p.m.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Arkansas Tech leads the all-time series, 61-24, against Arkansas-Monticello, as the Suns have not lost to the Blossoms since 2009. Against Henderson State, Tech holds a 61-12 edge in the all-time series, including seven consecutive victories.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN SUNS
No. 19 Arkansas Tech (18-4, 14-4 GAC) is coming off just its second home loss of the season on Monday, falling, 64-62, to Harding. The Golden Suns have clinched a spot in the Great American Conference Tournament in March, as Tech sits three games behind Harding in the GAC standings.
The Golden Suns have the 14
th-best shooting team in the nation, leading the conference with a field-goal percentage of 45 percent. The Suns also rank 13
th in Division II in rebounding margin and 17
th in scoring margin. During conference games only, Tech is the only team in the GAC with three players averaging at least 12 points.
Tech is led by six seniors, including two four-year players in
Anissa Pounds and
Danielle Frachiseur. Pounds currently ranks third all-time in program history in three-point field goals and ninth in career assists.
Pounds, Frachiseur and
Kelsey McClure each average double-digits in scoring as seniors, as McClure leads the GAC in field-goal percentage, and
Calli White ranks second in the conference in three-point percentage. Frachiseur leads the conference and ranks 18
th in Division II in free-throw percentage, while
Brianna Williams has come off the bench in 17 games this season to average 5.1 points.
SCOUTING THE COTTON BLOSSOMS
Arkansas-Monticello (11-11, 8-10 GAC) enters Thursday's contest after defeating Southern Arkansas, 66-49, on Monday. The Blossoms are currently seventh in the GAC standings and are fighting for a spot in the GAC Tournament.
The Blossoms have produced the fourth-best scoring defense in the conference, as UAM boasts the best three-point shooting team, both offensively and defensively, in the GAC. Brittnee Broadway ranks fourth in the conference with just over four assists per game, while Broadway also leads the GAC in assist-to-turnover ratio. Ayesha Wahid and Treasure Evans both average over 12 points per contest to lead the Blossoms.
SCOUTING THE REDDIES
Henderson State (8-16, 8-10 GAC) has lost eight of its last nine games, after starting the conference season 4-0. The Reddies are in a tie with UAM for seventh in the GAC standings. HSU will take on Harding in Searcy on Thursday before hosting the Golden Suns on Saturday.
The Reddies rank fifth in the conference in scoring offense and 10
th in scoring defense. Despite attempting the most three-point field goals in the conference this season, Henderson State ranks 10
th in three-point shooting percentage. HSU ranks second in the GAC in three-pointers made and steals. Pink Jones leads the Reddies and ranks sixth in the conference with 14.3 points per game. Hailey Estes averages 12.4 points and team-high 7.5 boards per contest.
