Box Score ADA, Okla. – RJ Glasper and
Harris Brown both scored 16 points and dished out three assists, but the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team (2-1, 0-1 Great American Conference) dropped a 90-86 overtime decision to East Central (1-0, 1-0 GAC) on Thursday night at the Kerr Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wonder Boys jumped out to an early 5-0 lead after Alex Brown opened the game with a jumper and Montrell Williams hit a 3-pointer.
- East Central scored its first basket of the game at the 18:52 minute mark. Tech outscored the Tigers 6-5 over the next three minutes to take a four-point (11-7) lead with 14:44 remaining in the half.
- The Wonder Boys would trade baskets with the Tigers over the next three minutes to put the score at 19-15 with 11:43 to play.
- The Tigers claimed their first lead of the game at the 8:49 minute mark after Jeramiah Fleming hit a 3-pointer to put the score at 20-19. ECU extended its lead to four points after going on a 7-4 run (27-23) with 7:22 remaining in the half.
- The Wonder Boys scored six of the next eight points and after an A. Brown steal and layup, knotted the score up at 29-29 with 5:00 remaining.
- East Central retook the lead at 30-29 after hitting a free throw, Tech regained the lead at 31-30 after a H. Brown inbounds pass led to an A. Brown dunk at the 4:33 minute mark.
- The final four minutes of saw three ties and two lead changes as the Tigers held a 40-38 lead at the end of the first half. The Tiger shot 50.0 percent, while holding the Wonder Boys to 37.5 percent shooting in the opening half. Brett Cannon led all scorers with ten points.
- The Tigers opened the second half on a 7-2 run to take a 47-40 advantage at the 15:41 minute mark.
- Tech put together a 6-0 run, highlighted by a Mason Cline 3-pointer to pull within one point (47-46) with 15:08 to play.
- Glasper scored the Wonder Boys next four points to give Tech a 50-48 lead. ECU hit a layup to tie the game back up at 50-50 with 13:47 remaining in regulation.
- The Wonder Boys built a 54-50 lead, but a pair of Cannon layup helped ECU tie the game (54-54) with 10:44 remaining.
- ECU regained the lead at 59-58 at the 8:45 minute mark.
- A pair of A. Brown free throws and a four straight points by Harris Brown helped Tech take a 65-59 advantage with 6:44 remaining in the game.
- ECU answered with a quick 11-4 spurt to regain the lead at 70-69 with 4:28 to play.
- H. Brown knotted the game up at 70-70 then helped the Wonder Boys take the lead at 72-70 with 2:16 remaining in regulation.
- A quick 5-0 run by the Tigers gave East Central a 75-72 lead with just under 1:30 left to play.
- Trevin Woods hit a pair of free throws to help Tech pull within one (75-74), but a ECU jumper pushed the Tiger lead back to three points with 54 seconds left to play.
- H. Brown tied the game up at 77-77 after drilling a corner 3-pointer with 19 second left in the game.
- Regulation ended with the score tied at 77-77.
- Both teams traded baskets in the opening possessions with neither team gaining an advantage as the score remained tied at 83-83 with 2:14 remaining in overtime.
- ECU gained an 85-83 lead with 1:58 remaining in overtime.
- Tech retook the lead at 86-85 after Glasper drained a 3-pointer, however the Tigers were quick to answer as they regained the lead at 87-86 on the next possession with 1:25 left in overtime.
- The Tigers went 3-for-4 from the free throw line in the final minute of the game to seal the win.

- East Central out shot Tech as the Tigers shot 50.0 percent while the Wonder Boys were held to 39.7 percent shooting.
- Four Wonder Boys reached double digits in scoring, led by Glasper and H. Brown with 16, then followed by Leonardo Edwards with 12, and A. Brown with 11.
- Tech was out rebounded 50-40 for the contest, led by Edwards with nine boards.
- The Wonder Boys forced 24 Tiger turnovers, which led to 27 points. Tech also held a 14-9 advantage in second chance points.
