WONDER BOYS ROUND UP RANGERS

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. Tevin McKenzie hauled in two touchdown passes and 156 receiving yards, Arkansas Tech (6-2, 6-2 Great American Conference) racked up five rushing touchdowns, and the Wonder Boys scored the most points that Arkansas Tech has scored in a single game since the 1961 season in a 66-10 rout of Northwestern Oklahoma (3-5, 3-5) on Saturday at Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field.

  • Tech's offensive output was the highest single-game scoring output by an Arkansas Tech squad since November 18, 1961, when Tech downed the University of the Ozarks 67-7.
  • Tech's win, coupled with a loss by Southeastern Oklahoma, propelled the Wonder Boys into a four-way tie for first place alongside Southeastern, Ouachita, and Southern Arkansas with three weeks to play in the regular season.
  • Ty Reasnor completed 16 of 26 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns.
  • Bryan Allen led Tech with 93 rushing yards.
