Montrell Williams chipped in a 13-point, seven-rebound performance as the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team (13-4, 9-4 Great American Conference) rallied from a 19-point deficit to take a 98-87 win over Southwestern Oklahoma (5-13, 2-10 GAC) on Saturday at the Pioneer Cellular Events Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bulldogs' defense opened the game on an 8-1 run and extended its lead into double figures (14-4) at the 14:51 mark of the first half.
- SWOSU used a 10-0 run to claim a 15-point advantage (19-4) with 13:38 remaining in the half.
- The Bulldogs stretched the lead out to 19 points (46-27) with 4:24 remaining until halftime, forcing an Arkansas Tech timeout.
- The Wonder Boys closed the gap leading into halftime, pulling to within ten (49-39) at the break.
- Tech scored the first four points of the half to pull to within six (49-43) just a minute into the second half.
- The Wonder Boys cut the deficit to four (51-47) after a Montrell Williams jumper at the 16:39 mark, and pulled to within two (54-52) with 16:09 remaining after a Trevin Woods 3-pointer.
- An Alex Brown 3-pointer with 13:06 to play brought the Wonder Boys to within one (56-55) with 13:06 remaining in the contest.
- After SWOSU stretched its lead to six (63-57), Grant Prusator hit another 3-pointer to pull Tech to within three at the 11:35 mark.
- A fast-break layup by Trevin Woods with 9:58 to play pulled Tech to within one (66-65).
- Tech took its first lead of the contest (67-66) with 9:33 to play when Bennie Lufile hit a pair of free throws.
- Grant Prusator hit three straight 3-pointers as part of a 16-0 run to push Tech ahead by 10 (76-66) with 7:33 to play.
- SWOSU narrowed the gap to five (76-71) with 7:07 to play after back-to-back baskets.
- Tech pushed its lead back into the double figures as Justin Graham hit a pair of free throws with 1:19 remaining, and the Wonder Boys held on for the victory.

- After being held to a 38.9 shooting percentage in the opening half, the Wonder Boys shot the lights out in the second half, connecting on 63.3 percent of their shots. The Wonder Boys held a 50.0 to 46.9 percent advantage for the game.
