ALLENDALE, Mich. –
Bryce Burke fired a final round 73 to finish in a tie for third at the Midwest/Central Region Championships Wednesday afternoon, allowing him to advance to the NCAA D-II National Championships.

Fighting through difficult, rainy conditions at The Meadows at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Michigan, Burke's third round 73 was lowest final round score by all players in the field. Burke shot up 10 spots on the final day to punch his ticket to the national championships. Burke finished the tournament with an overall score of 220 (72, 75, 73, +7).

In just his first year with the Wonder Boys, Burke will compete in the NCAA D-II National Championships as a freshman. Burke is the first individual to advance to the national championships under head coach
Luke Calcatera in his fifth season at the helm for Arkansas Tech.

As a team, the Wonder Boys shot the third-lowest team score in the final round to finish in a tie for 13
th.
Julio Arguelles fired a final round 77 to close out in a tie for 14
th with a 13-over-par.
