GOLDEN SUNS SPLIT WITH HARDING

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.Alex Edinger and Kambri Hill both picked up three hits in the opener, while Jalissa Gum fanned 11 hitters as the No. 5 Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball team (39-6, 29-5 Great American Conference) split a doubleheader with Harding (27-21, 19-17 GAC) on Tuesday, winning the opener 5-1 before falling 4-1 in the finale.

  • Arkansas Tech heads to Weatherford, Oklahoma this weekend for a four-game set with Southwestern Oklahoma. Friday's first pitch is set for 2 p.m. while Saturday's doubleheader begins at noon.
