RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The No. 4 Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball team (30-3, 20-2 Great American Conference) will begin a six-game road stretch with a midweek doubleheader at Harding (25-11, 17-7 GAC) Tuesday afternoon. The first game of the doubleheader is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start time.

The Golden Suns are coming off a solid weekend of softball, taking three out of four games against Southeastern Oklahoma (20-12, 16-6 GAC), including the last three games of the series 2-0, 5-1, and 5-4.

Jalissa Gum is coming off an outstanding series, going 8-of-11 from the plate with two home runs, three RBIs, three runs scored, with a pair of walks. Despite splitting in her two starts, Gum was also strong from the mound, giving up just three earned runs on nine hits, seven walks, and struck out 13 batters in 14 innings of work.

Morgan Vaughan also went to 11-0 on the season with a complete game, three-hit shutout with one walk and seven strikeouts and
Kelsie Barker picked up her fourth win of the season in relief in the final game of the series.
