ADA, Okla. – Arkansas Tech (23-2, 15-1 Great American Conference) got a pair of strong pitching performances from Jalissa Gum and Morgan Vaughan, as the Golden Suns swept East Central (14-15, 11-7 GAC) 9-0 and 4-1 Saturday afternoon in Ada. Gum pitched a complete game two-hit shutout in game one and Vaughan followed up in game two with a one-run, three-hit pitching performance to propel the Suns to the sweep.
 
NEXT UP
Tech will complete the four-game series tomorrow in a Sunday doubleheader against the Tigers. The games are slated for a 12 p.m. start.
