GOLDEN SUNS SPLIT WITH OKLAHOMA BAPTIST

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The No. 5 Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball team's 19-game winning streak came to an end on Monday night, as the Golden Suns (21-2, 13-1 Great American Conference) split a league doubleheader with Oklahoma Baptist (6-13, 4-10), winning the opener 7-1 before falling 3-0 in the nightcap.

NEXT UP
Tech heads to Ada, Oklahoma for a four-game conference set with East Central this Friday and Saturday. Friday's doubleheader begins at 2 p.m. while Saturday's begins at noon.

Edinger, Vasquez, Goodnight, and Hill all had two hits in the win.
Goodnight's two hits were both for extra bases – a double and a triple.
