RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Cheyenne North's 16 points and
Danielle Frachiseur' s 13 points and 11 boards led Arkansas Tech to a 77-74 win in overtime against No. 11 Drury on Wednesday.
Kelsey McClure sent the game into extra time on a layup with five seconds to play in regulation. The Golden Suns then held the lead for four of the five minutes in overtime to secure the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Drury (8-2) jumped out to an early 9-0 lead with three consecutive triples. The Lady Panthers later took their largest lead of 10 with just under three minutes to play in the first quarter.
- The Golden Suns responded with an 11-0 run that carried over to the second quarter when Taylor Ely knocked down a three to give Tech its first lead at 20-19.
- The second quarter featured five ties and six lead changes, but a 6-2 run to end the half put Drury ahead, 38-34, at the break. Tech and Drury each netted 13 field goals in the first half, but 7-13 shooting from behind the arc gave the Lady Panthers the four-point advantage.
- Drury held the lead for the entire third quarter, but Calli White cut the lead to two with a last-second three-pointer to end the period.
- With 3:41 to play in the fourth quarter, the Lady Panthers claimed their largest lead of the half at eight points. Consecutive threes from White and Frachiseur sparked a 9-2 run to cut the deficit to one point.
- After a 1-2 trip to the free-throw line for Drury with 11 seconds to play in regulation, head coach Dave Wilbers called timeout for one final play. Then, with five seconds remaining, McClure got the call and delivered with a game-tying basket.
- North secured the jump ball to begin overtime, and she later scored to give the Golden Suns the first lead of the period. A three-pointer by Drury stole the lead back at 66-65, but Anissa Pounds followed with a three of her own. Tech then netted 3-5 free-throws over the final three minutes to secure the win.
NOTABLES
- Six of North's team-high 16 points came in the five-minute overtime. North also added six rebounds, two blocks and two steals in the victory.
- McClure followed with 15 points, seven in the fourth quarter, and six assists. Frachiseur and White each tallied 13 points, with White netting 3-4 from deep.
- Tech finished the contest shooting a season-high 50.9 percent from the floor while converting on 14-18 free-throws. Drury was held to 41.5 percent on field-goals despite knocking down 11 three-pointers.
- The Lady Panthers won the rebounding battle, 36-31, including 19 offensive boards. Drury could not take advantage, however, recording just 15 second-chance points. Tech finished with 13 second-chance points off 10 offensive rebounds.

- "It was just a hard battle. We knew Drury was a good team for who they have beaten this year. We did a great job with our scouting reports and knowing their players."
