WONDER BOYS DROP EXHIBITION CONTEST TO STEPHEN F. AUSTIN

Box Score NACOGDOCHES, TexasDarrick Little scored 17 points off the bench, leading the way for the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team as Tech dropped a 94-57 decision to defending Southland Conference team Stephen F. Austin on Saturday.
 
The Lumberjacks, who were victorious as the No. 12 seed over fifth-seeded VCU in the opening round of last year's NCAA tournament, placed four players in double figures in the game.
 
Tyler Friedel drained three 3-pointers in the game en route to a nine-point performance, while Nick Wayman led the Wonder Boys with six rebounds.
 
Tech (6-5) will resume regular-season play on Wednesday, December 31, traveling to Pittsburg State for its non-conference finale. Tipoff from Pittsburg, Kan. is set for 2 p.m., with the game scheduled to be carried live on KWKK-FM (100.9) in Russellville.
