Kaylee Konsella, and
McCall Wilkins each had a team-high eight kills, with Todd posting a match-high .438 hitting percentage as the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns volleyball team (14-5, 6-1 Great American Conference) swept to a 3-0 win over East Central (3-15, 0-7 GAC) on Saturday.
The Golden Suns used 25-19, 25-20, and 25-19 wins to pick up the sweep.
"This was a great road swing for us," said Golden Suns head coach
Kristy Bayer. "We will have to have the same focus on Tuesday down in Monticello, as UAM is playing really well right now."
Sierra Nighswonger dished out 32 assists and served four aces, while Todd led the Golden Suns with a match-high eight digs.
The Golden Suns had five team blocks in the contest.
The Golden Suns return to action on Tuesday, October 7, at 6 p.m. against the University of Arkansas – Monticello in Monticello, Ark.
