Chris Nook enters his fourth year at Arkansas Tech as the assistant women's volleyball coach.
During his first season he helped the Golden Suns reach a 17-12 overall record and a 10-6 record in conference play. Since joining the staff in 2018, the Golden Suns have an overall record of 40-31 and a 24-18 conference record.
Prior to Arkansas Tech, Nook spent three seasons at the University of Florida as the women's volleyball team's technical coordinator. In that role, he conducted statistical and video analysis, film breakdown and opponent scouting, and was the assistant camp director. During Nook's time at Florida, the Gators won back-to-back SEC conference championships and reached the NCAA Division I Finals in 2017.
Nook also spent one year as the director of volleyball operations at Marquette, after serving as a volunteer assistant coach for Florida Gulf Coast, Virginia Commonwealth and Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He has spent time with USA Volleyball as a technical coordinator, apprentice coach and assistant coach, and Nook has over nine years of experience coaching seven club volleyball teams.
Nook earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Law from Wisconsin-Milwaukee, before getting a Master of Business degree in Athletic Administration from Southern New Hampshire.
