Arkansas Tech University Athletics

Michael Jenkins enters his first year as a graduate assistant for the Arkansas Tech football team and will work with the defensive line.

Jenkins comes to Tech following a four-year career at the University of Arkansas-Monticello where he played along the defensive line for the Boll Weevils. 

A native of Crossett, Jenkins saw action in 2018 and 2019 for the Boll Weevils but saw his senior campaign of 2020 not be played due to COVID. In his time on the field, Jenkins registered 39 tackles with nine going for a loss. He also had a pair of sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries for his career.
