Josh Oliver enters his first year as graduate assistant coach for the 2021 season as the Defensive Backs Assistant Coach.
Prior to Arkansas Tech, Oliver coached Defensive Quality Control at University of Central Arkansas in 2021, and at coached Linebackers at Lyon College from 2018 to 2020.
Oliver, Memphis, Tenn. native, graduated from Austin Peay with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance. Oliver spent two seasons on the coaching staff at Austin Peay State University. Oliver and the staff helped turn the Governors around from going 1-35 overall - including a 0-11 mark in the first year with the new coaching staff - to an 8-4 record in their second season.
