2014 Highlights
An honorable mention all-Great American Conference selection... saw action in 10 games, drawing the start in seven... notched 36 tackles on the season, 27 solo... three interceptions for 27 yards and six pass breakups... one tackle for loss totaling five yards... a season-best seven tackles twice, at Southwestern Oklahoma (9/13) and McNeese (9/27).

2013 Highlights
Saw action in 10 games... notched 52 tackles on the season (31 solo, 21 assisted)... one interception on the year... six pass breakups... notched a season-best eight tackles at East Central (11/2).

2012 Highlights
Sat out the season as a redshirt.

In High School
His senior season, Gooden, who earned First-Team All-District honors as a senior, recorded 102 total tackles, including 80 solo stops and added five tackles for loss, five sacks, forced three fumbles and picked off three passes, including returning two of those interceptions for touchdowns... he was a part of three consecutive State Playoff teams at Texas High, including advancing to the second round as a sophomore in 2009.
