RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2026 Academic All-District® team honorees for women's tennis. In that release, it was revealed that three Arkansas Tech women's tennis players,
Elis Gergel,
Natalya Montoya and
Lucia Perez earned the distinction.
All three exceeded the program's standards of excellence in the classroom being at least a sophomore academically with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and met the required minimum amounts of play on the court of being in the lineup for 75 percent of an institution's days of competition.
Gergel, a junior from Krasnodar, Russia, is majoring in Finance at Tech and is currently sporting a 3.81 GPA.
Montoya, a sophomore from El Paso, Texas, is majoring in Business Management at Tech and currently possesses a 4.00 GPA.
Perez, a sophomore from Tarragona, Spain is majoring in Biochemistry at Tech and currently has a 3.72 GPA.
