TEMPE, Ariz. – Elis Gergel and
Rebecca Arnold have made Arkansas Tech women's tennis history by being selected to compete as a doubles team at the upcoming Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II Individual National Championships in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The announcement of their selection as an at-large team was made by the ITA on Wednesday afternoon. Gergel and Arnold will be one of 32 doubles teams competing for a ITA National Championship starting on November 8.

This fall, Gergel and Arnold captured the top-flight doubles championship at the GAC Fall Championships and most-recently advanced to the round of 16 at the ITA Central Region Fall Championships.
