RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – On Friday, the Great American Conference announced its annual All-Conference and superlative award winners for women's tennis. In that release, the Golden Suns had four players earn All-GAC honors.
 
Highlighted among the honorees with first team plaudits were Elis Gergel and Lucia Perez. Nayara Alvarez and Rebecca Arnold received second team acclaim. For Gergel, this is her second All-GAC honor in her career as she was a second team selection a year ago. All newcomers to Tech, Perez, Alvarez and Arnold are now first-time recipients.
 
In addition to the on-court honors, Gergel and Natalya Montoya garnered academic honors with both making the GAC Academic Honor Roll.
