LEADING OFF
The Arkansas Tech softball team will be on the road for their next Great American Conference series as they will head to Southern Nazarene.

The series is scheduled to start with a single game at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 9 and conclude with a doubleheader on Friday, April 10 starting at Noon.

The Golden Suns and Crimson Storm have met 51 times prior to their series this weekend. The series began in 2013 and has been played annually as conference foes since. Tech currently holds a 35-16 lead in the series.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns enter the series with an overall record of 29-8 and are 18-3 in the GAC. They have won 19-straight games and are most-recently coming off a doubleheader sweep on the road at Southwest Baptist this past Tuesday.

Offensively, the Golden Suns enter this weekend hitting .279 as a team (280-for-1,008) with 198 runs scored, 46 doubles, 10 triples and 31 home runs.

Aubree Jones currently leads the team in batting average at .356 (37-for-104).
Aaliyah Dixon has provided the most power production thus far with a .632 slugging percentage thanks to five doubles, four triples and six home runs.

Anna Winkfield leads the team in runs scored with 31.

Ainlsee Moore and
Emily Richarde made starts over Tech's most-recent weekend against Henderson State and figure to be in the rotation against Southern Nazarene.

Moore is 10-0 with a 2.52 ERA and has 44 strikeouts in 72.1 innings.
Richarde is 5-2 with a 2.20 ERA and has 57 strikeouts in 60.1 innings.

Leading the Golden Suns is
Jordon Jones. In her fourth season as head coach of the Golden Suns,
Jones has amassed a 110-81 record at Tech. Prior to coming to Tech,
Jones had head coaching stops at the NAIA level at Central Baptist in Conway and MidAmerica Nazarene in Kansas. Overall, her career record is 263-157.

SCOUTING SOUTHERN NAZARENE
Southern Nazarene enters the series with Tech with a 23-20 overall record and a 13-8 record in the GAC. The Crimson Storm have won four of their last five games. Last weekend, they swept East Central on the road and are most-recently coming off a doubleheader split at home against No. 18 Central Oklahoma. SNU won the first game against UCO, 4-1 and then lost the second game, 10-1 in five innings.

Entering play against Tech, the Crimson Storm are hitting .277 as a team (305-for-1,102) with 191 runs scored, 59 doubles, nine triples and 22 home runs.

Eden Anderson currently leads the team in batting average at .368 (50-for-136).
Anderson has also provided the biggest power threat thus far for the Crimson Storm and leads the team with a .574 slugging percentage thanks to 14 doubles, a triple and four home runs.
Anderson also leads the team in RBIs with 33.
Kristen Mullendore leads the team in runs scored with 28.
