Aubree Jones has been named as the latest Great American Conference Player of the Week as it was announced by the league office on Monday.
It is the first GAC weekly honor in the career of Jones and the fifth this season for the Golden Suns.
In earning the conference award, Jones had a big week at the plate for the Golden Suns as she hit. 538 (7-for-13) and had a slugging percentage of 1.385. Across five games played, Jones had a pair of doubles, three home runs, scored five runs and drove in five.
Her best game of the week came in the second game of the doubleheader at Southwest Baptist as she went 2-for-2 with a pair of home runs and drove in three.
