LEADING OFF
The Arkansas Tech softball team continues their eight-game stretch of road games this weekend with a three-game series at Ouachita Baptist.

The series is scheduled to start with a single game starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 27 and then conclude with a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The Golden Suns and Tigers have met 82 times prior to their series this weekend. The series began in 2003 and has been played annually as conference foes since. Tech currently holds a 59-23 lead in the series.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns enter this weekend with an overall record of 19-8 and are 12-3 in the GAC. They have won nine-straight games and are most-recently coming off a three-game sweep on the road against East Central this past weekend.

Offensively, the Golden Suns enter this weekend hitting .266 as a team (190-for-713) with 130 runs scored, 29 doubles, eight triples and 18 home runs.

Aubree Jones currently leads the team in batting average at .320 (24-for-75).
Aaliyah Dixon has provided the most power production thus far with a .545 slugging percentage thanks to three doubles, three triples and two home runs.
Jones also paces the team in RBIs with 18 while
Anna Winkfield leads the team in runs scored with 22.

Emily Richarde and
Jenny Shank made starts over Tech's most-recent weekend against East Central and figure to be among the rotation this weekend against Ouachita.

White is 8-3 with a 1.77 ERA and has 36 strikeouts in 63.1 innings.
Richarde is 3-2 with a 3.13 ERA and has 36 strikeouts in 38.0 innings.
Shank is 2-3 with a 4.67 ERA and has 25 strikeouts in 30.0 innings.

Leading the Golden Suns is
Jordon Jones. In her fourth season as head coach of the Golden Suns,
Jones has amassed a 100-81 record at Tech. Prior to coming to Tech,
Jones had head coaching stops at the NAIA level at Central Baptist in Conway and MidAmerica Nazarene in Kansas. Overall, her career record is 253-157.

SCOUTING OUACHITA BAPTIST
Ouachita Baptist enters the weekend 10-21 overall and 6-9 in the GAC. They are coming off a series loss at home last weekend against nationally-ranked Oklahoma Baptist. Most-recently, the Tigers went 1-3 across their pair of non-conference doubleheaders earlier this week.

Entering play against Tech, the Tigers are hitting .226 as a team (178-for-788) with 107 runs scored, 37 doubles, five triples and 21 home runs.

Alaina Lyle currently leads the team in batting average at .333 (20-for-60).
Emily Reed has provided the biggest power threat thus far for the Tigers and leads the team with a .622 slugging percentage thanks to seven doubles and nine home runs.
Reed also leads the team in RBIs with 24 and in runs scored with 15.

The Tigers used a weekend rotation of
Catie Amador and
Hannah Hunter in their weekend series against Oklahoma Baptist. Those two figure to be in the weekend rotation against Tech.
