RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Tech sophomore pitcher
Aly White has been named as the latest Great American Conference Pitcher of the Week as it was announced by the league office on Monday.
It is the first GAC weekly honor in the career of White and the second this season for the Golden Suns.
In earning the conference award, White added her name to the Arkansas Tech softball record books by pitching the program's 20
th no-hitter. She would do so in the first game of the series at East Central.
With the game ending in six innings, White would pitch 6.0 innings against the Tigers. She would allow four walks and one run in Tech's 10-1 win. She is now 8-3 on the year a 1.77 ERA.
