RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech women's golf team returns to competition this week and will participate in the Hardscrabble Invitational, hosted by the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. The two-day event will be played at the par-70, 5,988-yard Hardscrabble Country Club in Fort Smith.
The No. 38-ranked Golden Suns are one of 14 teams in the field with teams from the GAC, MIAA, Lonestar, NSIC and GLVC competing. In the lineup for the Golden Suns will be
Ellen Spigner,
Jaylee Castro,
Averi Mickelson,
Laura Weber Bernardo and
Jessie Norman.
Kasey Reichard and
Maria Ruiz will also play in the event, doing so as individuals.
The 54-hole event is scheduled to have a shotgun start of 8:30 a.m. on Monday. The Golden Suns will be grouped with UA-Fort Smith and Midwestern State.
Monday is set to feature 36 holes of play with the second round occurring shortly after the completion of the opening round,
Tuesday's tee times will be determined after Monday's results.
